When your brand has a solid foundation and a strong identity, mic drop moments are the default.
Last weekend, Trina was invited to speak at the Mindshare Summit in San Diego, hosted by our friend and client JJ Virgin.
During her breakout session, there was a technical glitch with the slides. While we waited for that to get sorted, Trina asked an off-the-cuff question to the room full of founders.
“Who here is proud of their website and excited to send traffic to it?”
Only two people raised their hands.
Trina continued, “Only two people? Nicole Willis and Margaret Floyd Barry… and they are both our clients.”
We couldn’t have planned that better.
Luck had very little to do with it.
A moment like that comes from a strong brand and nearly 20 years of delivering on what we promise. Most importantly, it comes from our Brand Elevation method working for both of those founders.
They got CLEAR on their business model and the strategy to get them to the next level.
They got NOTICED by an elevated audience that connects with their message.
And now they’re getting PAID what they’re worth through offers they’re excited to deliver.
Which means there’s zero brand shame when they send people to their websites.
Both of them know who they are and what they stand for, and they own that identity 100%.
The same goes for us.
That glitch, by the way, took almost the entire session to fix. Trina gave her whole talk without slides. The tech team finally got them working in the last two minutes of the presentation.
But she didn’t need them.
After nearly 20 years, our method hasn’t changed. Our fonts may have shifted, but our message hasn’t… and the psychology behind it all is still rock solid.
We own who we are at Left Right Labs. That’s why mic drop moments like this one happen without a script.
All weekend, people were still talking about how Trina commanded that room. The word we kept hearing was “badass.”
That’s what it’s like when your brand does the talking when you’re not in the room.
